Cloakroom (Downstairs Toilet)

Location: Downstairs, external wall Above: Boiler cupboard on first floor

Current State

• Floor raised ~47mm (PIR + chipboard to match rest of downstairs) (April 2025)
• Old pipework still in place (replacement planned 26 April 2025)
• Microwave sensor light sourced (not yet installed, discussed 17 April)

Completed

• Floor insulation and buildup (matches rest of ground floor) (April 2025)

Needs

• Pipework replacement for toilet and basin
• Microwave sensor light installation
• Toilet final installation (lifted 47mm to match new floor)
• Basin final installation
• Radiator

Plumbing Notes

• Toilet waste drops vertically through concrete slab
• With 47mm floor raise, need flexible/offset pan connector
• Basin waste through external wall
• 15mm cold feed from utility trunk line

Toilet Installation (raised floor)

• Use flexible or offset pan connector (McAlpine WC-F23R type)
• Check pan doesn’t lift above soil pipe centre (needs downward fall)
• Shim/platform under pan for level support

Basin

• Route waste through external wall
• Standard trap setup
